True Work

The Four Pillars of Vitality

A few years ago, I found a book titled “Transforming Your Dragons - How to Turn Fear Patterns into Personal Power.” Written by Jose Luis Stevens, PhD @The Power Path

In here, I found I had been battling the Dragon of Self-Destruction. I’ve been working to slay this dragon ever since.

What I also found were key elements to my path forward.

“The Four Pillars of Vitality lead to a balanced, healthy, and satisfying life.”

The Four Pillars of Vitality:

True Work

True Play

True Study

True Rest

My morning practice brought me back to the focus of True Work this morning.

My True Work is being my authentic self, sharing tools and resources, connecting with other humans, creating, writing, and being in and of service to others in Love.

“When you begin to do your true work, windows of opportunity open and obstacles clear away as if by magic. Discovering this work or embarking on it is quite difficult as long as the dragon controls your behavior. When you push the dragon out of your life, true work begins to find you.”

I have recently fought more battles with the Dragon of Self-Destruction. The previous battles gave me the tools, resources, and experience to continue slaying this dragon with multiple heads.

“The Four Pillars of Vitality lead to a balanced, healthy and satisfying life.”

This is what I want for my life. To be balanced, healthy, and satisfied.
